After 15 years in corporate and institutional finance at a major bank, our founder took time off to raise her three beautiful children. It was during those early parenting years that she discovered the big lie of the pram industry — that kids need expensive, bulky prams they’ll happily sit in while parents tackle shopping or outings. The reality? As soon as her kids could walk, they wanted freedom, not to be strapped in, and she was left wondering how to manage grocery runs or park trips with a baby, pram, and gear in tow.
Everything changed when she imported a wagon stroller from America. It was a game-changer — spacious, versatile, and loved by her kids, who could hop in and out as they pleased. Everywhere she went, from playgrounds to markets, parents and grandparents stopped her to ask, “Where did you get that? How can I get one?” But wagon strollers weren’t readily available in Australia, and after years of sharing her passion for them with strangers — who all said, “I’d buy one from you!” — the seed for Strollr Wagons was planted. When her bank role was made redundant during maternity leave, she saw the perfect opportunity to turn her vision into reality.
